Unit Orientation
HealthStaff arranges and finances up to 48 hours of orientation time on units to which our employees may be assigned, giving them an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the layout of the unit and the other members of the health care team. As part of this orientation, HealthStaff provides employees with a written profile of the unit, which contains such vital information as the staff complement, bed breakdown, patient population, level of acuity, required skills, unit-specific procedures, and work flow.
